Art of Pleasure Exhibition / February 2024
The 'Art of Pleasure' project, initiated by Revolutionístas and partly supported by the City of Austin, showcased diverse creativity, fostered community connections, and contributed to the evolving narrative of pleasure as an integral part of the human experience. This one-night art exhibition, inspired by adrienne maree brown's 'Pleasure Activism: The Politics of Feeling Good,' was designed to be reflective and celebratory and featured surprise performances, cumbia dance music from skilled DJs, and local food and drinks.
